Requirements
English Requirements

Students with TOEFL 550 or more (or IELTS 6 or CBT 213 or iBT 80) will receive an unconditional letter of acceptance and may proceed to a full academic load of 5 courses per semester.  Students who have completed English 12/90 in Canada or completed our English Language Training program also meet the English requirements for academic programs.

Students with no TOEFL or TOEFL less than 550 will receive a conditional letter of acceptance.  Students who are conditionally accepted must take our English Language Assessment when they first arrive.  The results of this test will determine if a student must first complete English Language Training or if the student can proceed directly to a full academic load.  Students who need English Language Training are allowed to take one to three academic courses per semester with their English, depending on their language level.
